Limitations and Exclusions
- An annual maintenance subscription provides support for the Python File Audit module. In order to keep the cost of a maintenance subscription affordable and to offer a convenient fixed-price package, we must place certain limitations on the amount of service included.
- Contact time is limited to 40 hours per year. We do not normally track contact time and we do not wish to cut anyone off. This limitation is included purely to set clear expectations and to prevent abuse. If you believe you may need more than 40 hours of help, please contact us to discuss a custom support contract tailored to your requirements.
- We will make every reasonable effort to respond to your questions. In normal circumstances you should receive a reply within one business day. There is, however, no guaranteed response time. During public holidays or periods of annual leave a longer response time may occasionally be required, although this is rare.
- A maintenance subscription does not cover on-site visits or face-to-face consultation.
- Bug fixes are applied to the latest version of Python File Audit. If you report a bug, we will fix it. We do not maintain separate versions of the module. All improvements and fixes are made available to everyone. But we do offer professional services for custom requests tailored for your use case.
- We are happy and eager to advise you on writing secure applications by using this Python module, or other proven Security by Design methods and tools. We will not, however, write code for you as part of a maintenance subscription.
- If you encounter an application bug and it is unclear whether the issue lies in our Python File Audit code, we will be pleased to advise you on how to isolate the problem more effectively and will attempt to reproduce it. Please note that we are unable to debug or support your application within your specific context.
- A maintenance subscription may be used by all development teams within your organisation.
Price: Only 750 (EUR) per year (excluding VAT).
