Solving cybersecurity problems is hard. Understanding the problem is a first step towards better solutions. Every respectable university has a cybersecurity research department. Valorization of research into simple tangible daily cyber solutions is hard. Solving problems means sharing and building upon knowledge of others.

  • The NYU Center for Cybersecurity (CCS) The NYU Center for Cybersecurity (CCS) is an interdisciplinary research institute dedicated to training the current and future generations of cybersecurity professionals and to shaping the public discourse and policy, legal, and technological landscape on issues of cybersecurity.

  • The MESS Lab The MESS Lab is a security lab at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Our research focuses on Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, and Software/Systems Security. The MESS Lab is part of the NYU Center for Cybersecurity. This lab has produced some nice projects.

  • COMSEC COMSEC is the computer security group of the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (D-ITET) at ETH Zürich. Main research goal is the construction of reliable and secure computing systems.

  • The University of Piraeus Cyber Security Research Lab (CSRL). The Cyber Security Research Lab consists of faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, PhD candidates and other research associates. The vision of the Lab is to reach academic excellence in the areas of cybersecurity, cyber defence and privacy and to advance the skills, knowledge, capabilities and values of our students. Our innovations result from our scientific research activities and relevant publications, our broad collaborations with national/EU/international public/private organizations and SMEs, our participation in numerous R&D cyber security EU projects, as well as in numerous national and international cyber security exercises.
